The atmosphere was quite lively with noisy guests and trains throughout the night. While the staff seemed a bit overworked, they did help when I needed an iron. The room had persistent damp odors, and cleanliness could improve, but the location was perfect for the nearby wedding.

Absolutely adored the charming ambiance, with a lovely bar and decent food. But oh, the thrill of a shared bathroom experience—who doesn't love a good communal soak with strangers? Priceless! What a delightful recipe for disaster.

Doonside's bistro serves up classic American dishes that'll kick your taste buds into overdrive! Plus, the comfy beds made crashing after a big meal a treat. Easy access to the train station and handy parking? Score!
A bit noisy with the locals having a chinwag, and the shared loos could use a bit more TLC. Would definitely roll back in!
